Ms. Caruso has been continuously licensed to practice law in the State of New York since 1989, and the State of Michigan since 1991. She is a transactional attorney with her primary focus on probate and estate planning, probate litigation, business succession and formation, tax planning matters in the estate planning context, and real estate transactions.
Ms. Caruso holds Certificates of Completion in the areas of Probate, Estate Planning and Elder Law issued by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE), and is an accredited attorney for the preparation, presentation and prosecution of claims for Veteran’s Benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs. Ms. Caruso has extensive experience drafting trust instruments and serves as a professional trustee for a number of private trusts. She also has extensive experience in probate litigation dealing with the formation and interpretation of trusts. A knowledgeable and experienced probate litigator, Ms. Caruso can draft and implement an estate plan that will withstand challenge. She can also effectively represent your interests in a will, trust or estate contest. As a member of the 52/2nd District Court Sobriety Court’s Advisory Board, Ms. Caruso assisted the sobriety court with obtaining its non-profit status. Ms. Caruso received a Juris Doctor and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Detroit in 1988. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio). |
